Can Supplements Make Thyroid Conditions Worse?

Did you know that some supplements can worsen a hypothyroid condition? There is a lot of information on the web promoting different types of supplements to improve thyroid physiology, weight loss, and many other symptoms and conditions. But, are they all beneficial for everyone?

In Episode 55 of Thyroid Answers Podcast, Dr. Eric Balcavage and Dr. Erica Riggleman discuss the supplements that many people take to improve their health and thyroid physiology. They discuss while there may be benefits of taking some of these supplements, they discuss how some of these supplements can make hypothyroid symptoms worse.
