Our patients receive the most effective, safe, and advanced regenerative cell therapy available. Our unique umbilical cord therapy activates the body’s own self-healing mechanisms for cellular/tissue regeneration and repair.
- Human Umbilical Cord Blood is a rich source of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Hematopoietic cells, and Progenitor cells. It is the combination of these cells that makes cord blood such a unique therapy product.
- There are no negative side effects and the cells are undifferentiated, therefore the body does not reject them. Umbilical cord stem cells have been used for over thirty years to help reduce the chance of organ transplant rejection.
- Human Umbilical Cord Stem Cells are unique. They are adult stem cells, but young enough that they cannot create an allergic response in the body.

Joints & Orthopedic Injuries Helped by Regenerative Therapy
The knee is the largest joint in the human body and is a complex, hinged joint that allows you to effectively flex, extend and rotate your leg in a variety of movements. Chronic knee problems often arise when the cartilage or cushion between the joints breaks down, leading to pain, stiffness and swelling. Sometimes called degenerative joint disease, osteoarthritis is the most common chronic condition of the joints and most common form of degeneration in the knee. Osteoarthritis, a degenerative,”wear-and-tear” type of arthritis typically occurs in people 50 years of age and older but can occur in younger people as well.
In osteoarthritis, the cartilage in the knee joint gradually wears away. As the cartilage wears away, it becomes frayed and rough and the protective space between the bones decreases. This can result in bone rubbing on bone producing painful bone spurs.
Regenerative Cell injections may offer those who are suffering from chronic knee pain or those in need of knee surgery or knee replacement due to arthritis/osteoarthritis, common injuries or other degenerative conditions, a non-surgical option to heal and repair.
Common Knee Conditions helped with Regenerative Therapy
- Arthritis / Osteoarthritis
- Knee Injuries: MCL, ACL, PCL, MCL Tears & Sprains
- Patellar Tendonitis
- Joint Instability
Mainstream treatment options for patients suffering from knee damage or injury include arthroscopic knee surgery to repair ligament tears, or total knee joint replacement. Both surgeries have their own set of risks and involve months of rehabilitation to regain strength and mobility. If you have encountered an injury to the knee or have chronic knee pain due to a past injury or osteoarthritis, you may be a good candidate for Regenerative Cell Therapy.
The shoulder is comprised of two joints that provide us with a wide range of movement and ability. Different forms of arthritis, injury and the aging process all contribute to decreased mobility, inflammation and shoulder pain. Regenerative Cell Therapy is a non-surgical form of care for people suffering from pain due to inflammatory conditions, arthritis, rotator cuff and shoulder tears, overuse injuries, and other degenerative disorders.
Common Shoulder Conditions helped with Regenerative Therapy
- Arthritis of the Shoulder Joint
- Rotator Cuff Tears
- Labral Tears
- Tendonitis & Tendonosis
- Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
Shoulder surgery is often a risky procedure due to the complexity of the joint. Post surgical recovery can be painful and lengthy rehabilitation period is usually needed. As an alternative to shoulder surgery, cell therapy may help reduce or eliminate shoulder pain and restore joint damage with a non-invasive injection procedure. Patients typically experience little or no down time from our procedure.
Before considering shoulder replacement surgery, come in for a consultation to see if you are a candidate for Regenerative Therapy. By stimulating your body’s own natural healing abilities, cell therapy can produce lasting results in the care of shoulder pain and injury.
Hip problems caused by injury, inflammation or degeneration can cause pain that is often debilitating and immobilizing. Regenerative Therapy is a breakthrough, non-surgical therapy for people suffering from hip pain due to common injuries, including hip arthritis, hip bursitis, osteonecrosis and other degenerative disease of the hip.
Common Hip Conditions helped with Regenerative Therapy
Regenerative Therapy offers an effective, non-invasive care option for many patients who are considering elective surgeries to resolve their hip pain. Regenerative Therapy can help provide the factors needed to help the body repair, replace, cushion, support, protect and function at optimal levels. Therapy can help ease hip problems by optimizing the body’s ability to heal itself. Before considering hip replacement surgery, come in for a consultation to see if you are a candidate for Regenerative Medicine in our office.
Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is a common injury which creates inflammation of the tendons of the elbow and is usually caused by overuse of the muscles of the forearm. While a common injury for tennis players, this condition is quite common for most people. Soreness, stiffness and pain when holding or grasping for an object may also be experienced.
Common Elbow Conditions helped with Regenerative Therapy
- Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
- Golfer’s Elbow (medial epicondylitis)
Regenerative Therapy offers an effective, non-surgical care option for many patients who have not found elbow pain relief following steroidal injections or other treatments. Therapy can help restore elbow function and decrease pain and weakness by replenishing the cells and proteins needed to aid the regenerative process.

Umbilical Cord Derived Stem Cells
Not all regenerative cell therapies are created equal. Rejuvagen utilizes human umbilical cord-derived cell products. Mesenchymal stem cells from the umbilical cord blood are known to have three very important properties:
• Help reduce inflammation
• Modulate the immune system
• Secrete factors that help tissues to regenerate
Umbilical cord stem cells are less mature than other cells so the body’s immune system is unable to recognize them as foreign and there has never been a single instance of rejection. Umbilical cord stem cells also proliferate more efficiently than older cells, such as those found in the bone marrow and therefore, they are considered to be more potent.
What are Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC’s)?
In scientific terms, they are multipotent stromal (connective tissue) cells that stimulate your body to differentiate them into a variety of cell types, including neurons, cartilage, fat, blood (red, white, or platelet blood cells), bone, and muscle. Multipotent means they can develop into multiple types of cells, but divide a limited number of times (a built in safety mechanism). They are messengers that signal your body to activate self-healing and regeneration. The MSC’s themselves do not create new tissue or healing, they signal your body to activate a cascade of cellular functions. As we age, we have fewer mesenchymal stem cells, therefore getting a boost of day “0” MSC’s may help many conditions. Umbilical Cord Stem Cells contain a small, but significant amount of mesenchymal stem cells that signal self-healing and regeneration.
How it Works
Simply stated, HUCT stem cells have an innate intelligence and activate the body’s own self-healing mechanisms. They seek out inflammation and degeneration. They go where your body needs them to go and become what your body needs them to become. They are the building blocks of all of the tissue and organs in the human body. In other words, they give your body a boost of fresh, very young stem cells to help with regeneration. Our stem cells age with us and we lose a significant percentage over time. That’s why at about age 35, we can’t recover like we used to.
Safe and Regulated
Umbilical cord stem cells reside in the umbilical cords from healthy newborn babies and healthy mothers. Like all post-natal cells, they are categorized as “adult” stem cells. The umbilical cord tissue is donated by pre-screened and tested healthy mothers and healthy babies in the United States. We abide by the most stringent FDA and medical guidelines. Your safety, results and comfort are our top concern. The cells are rigorously tested and screened under National Institutes of Health (NIH), FDA, American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) guidelines.
